Engagement Shots

I love doing these types of photo shoots!

I get to hang out with the future Bride and Groom and get to know them a little bit more. Just before they "take the plunge" (see photo below!!) The best part is when I get a couple who love to be silly and have fun with each other! How could that not be fun! It seems the people whom I end up working with always seem to be these types of people, to be honest, I think they are all amazing!

One of my favourites is when couples say "we are up for pretty much anything"!! Lol!! Don't worry I don't make anyone do anything "dangerous"!!

Well, I haven't yet ;)

I want the photos to look unique and different than any other Photographers! I really do believe it isn't just Photography.... it's an Art!

Exciting News!

Hi Everyone!

I have some pretty exciting news again! Things are just crazy busy but Life is Wonderful!!

I was asked to attend a Wedding Show next April.  It is done through Kaneff Golf at the Lionhead Golf and Country Club in Mississauga!  Only 2 Photographers are invited to the show and I will be one of them!!! Should be AMAZING!!!

Again, I have a few photos I'd like to show from a wedding I just did, here are a few of my favourites!

WOW! I haven't written in a while! With so many Photo Shoots and Wedding Shows I feel so very blessed to be so very busy! It was probably a good thing that I stopped to take a look at my web site, and noticed I haven't blogged in way too long.  I've met so many great people over the last few months and unfortunately had to turn away 9 weddings, but, at least it's because I'm busy!

Here are a couple of my favorite shots from two different newborn sessions over the last week.  I am going to try to remember to get back to blogging again too! So hopefully I will be able to keep everyone up to date on what's going on here ;)

Wedding Show

This weekend will be a big one for me.  I have a booth booked at the Hamilton/Halton Wedding Show. I am very EXCITED to set up all my stuff in one area and meet all the new "Brides-to-be" for this upcoming year!

Here are some of my favourite shots from some weddings over the summer as well as a couple from the Newborn Shoot I did this week. :)  Enjoy!

We met with some friends whom we haven't seen in quite a while this weekend.  It was a lot of fun catching up! One phrase that is still sticking in my head is "Hickinese"... pardon if I've misspelled it!

Which again brought out the fact that I am a first generation Canadian... (my Father was Hungarian and my Mother is Polish) I was not taught adages and those dumb phrases everyone uses all the time!  Yes, I called them DUMB!  Like the one with the birds and the bushes and something to do with something being in your hand!  SEE.... dumb...

This morning as Bob was leaving the bedroom for the third time (this time he brought up a tea to bed for me) I said to him. "Boy, you really are bent and determined to get me up out of bed today".  His response just before he left the room with a sly little grin on his face....

"That's bound and determined" ;)  

UGH!!

Oh well!!! What can I say! :)

All that aside, here are some photos from the week that were my favourites~

Cake Smash

I had an absolute BLAST this week with a great little girl who turned 1.  We did a Cake Smash. I did do this with each of my kids 18 some odd years ago with great success I would say!! :)

Sometimes it is a little slow starting as they just don't understand it is a cake they can eat... but once they taste the icing, out come the sounds of .. MMMMM  and OOOHHHHH  it is just adorable!!!

When they get going it really can be a lot of fun... almost like making delicious mud pies!! Smooshed all in your fingers, flinging icing all over the room!! What a BLAST!!  Have I mentioned I love my job!!! :)
